Students begin this project on the second day of class with pencil and paper. They create a card with their name and a personal motto. They should include a pattern in the background and create emphasis on their name using contrast. They scan them, enhance in Photoshop, animate, and optimize for the web as .gif files. Students email them, set as personal profile pictures, use as wallpaper on their mobile device or desktops.
